Our Products

Cold by winter and sunny by summer

Although the tearooms have seen a fair few years, the building has been tastefully restored for a modern café’s requirements. We can seat 50 people inside and another 16 outside in our courtyard.  We regularly cater for groups both in our shop and at various venues around town.

For the coffee critics

Life is too short to drink bad coffee. We pride ourselves on a great for a coffee at any time of the day - we use Canterbury Hummingbird's Oomph, an organic, fair trade blend with a rich, sweet, nutty flavour.

Get your daily bread

Our onsite bakery produces a great range of tasty, quality products for you to try such as our wild and traditional pies, fresh bread, rolls, sweet buns, cakes, slices, muffins and scones all made daily and with our own bread products. One of our well-known specialities is home style shortbread which seems to fly straight out the door before it’s hit the shelf.

William Patterson

A really good spot for breakfast on Broadway. I found the staff to very friendly and the service was prompt. The food was delicious, presented nicely and very filling. Kept me going for hours! Well worth a visit if you're looking for breakfast or a quick bite to eat. Plenty of cabinet food on offer and a great menu.
